This is an authentic turn-of-the-century gin bottle from the famous Sir Robert Burnett & Co. distillery in London, England. This piece features a striking light aqua glass with heavy, crisp embossing on the front. The bottle was "blown in a mold" with a hand-finished "applied top," a technique that transitioned out of common use by the early 20th century.
The glass is filled with beautiful "seeds" (tiny air bubbles) and slight waves, which are highly desirable traits for antique glass collectors.
The base is embossed with the mold markings "U 6245" and a large "S."

Condition:
The body of the bottle is in excellent display condition with no cracks and very little "haze" or mineral cloudiness. The embossed text is very sharp. Please Note: The top lip area is badly chipped (see photos). While this damage is significant to the finish, the bottle remains a sturdy and historically interesting display piece for a windowsill or shelf.
