Vintage 12 oz Square Atlas Mason Jar Clear Glass (10 oz Mark) Pristine For Sale

Vintage mid-century clear glass Atlas Mason Jar in a distinct, compact 12-ounce square shape (often referred to by collectors as the "Thrifty" size). This authentic piece was manufactured in the United States by the Hazel-Atlas Glass Company between the late 1950s and early 1960s as a commercial packer jar.. It features a completely smooth, blank bottom plate and distinct automatic-machine mold seams running directly through the screw threads, which securely dates its late-era production window. The side panel is cleanly embossed with fluid ounce measuring lines reading up to 10 oz., leaving the standard required headspace at the top for a total brimful capacity of 12 ounces. Completely free of cracks, ships, bruising, or flea bites along the top rim. The glass remains crisp, clear and unclouded. Does not include a closure lid. Specialty Commercial Threads. Approximately 4.5 inches tall.
