It's a gorgeous, slightly variegated color from a lighter sea-foam blue-green for a couple of centimeters around the edges to a captivating, and classic, medium blue blue-green running down the central portion of the piece. There aren't many common species where one single locality produces specimens with a look so unique and beautiful as to dominate the species among collectors and there are very few that are a match for the great Smithsonites from the Kelly Mine, like this one!
