VINTAGE Waechtersbach Celebration Red Plate, “You are special today\" NEW IN BOX. The box shows a bit of wear.
This plate was made in Germany some time between the 1990\'s and the early 2000\'s before the production of the \"Red Plate\" was moved to China. It is 10.75\" in diameter and is made of the heavy clay characteristic of these older red plates. It has a German backstamp on the underside.
Included are the original box, the Red Plate, the \"official\" Red Plate pen to use to record special celebrants on the back of the plate, and some literature which includes a short write-up, \"The Magic of the Red Plate,\" describing the history of the use of red plates back to Colonial America.
