VTG WWII Camel Cigarettes Cardboard Standee Sign Army Soldier PX Display 32\" For Sale

Cigarettes promotional standee. Standing at nearly 3 feet tall (32 inches), this impressive vintage advertising piece features a beautifully lithographed US Army soldier in his Class A uniform holding a soft pack of Camel cigarettes.

Produced by the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, this middle-scale size was designed to command attention as a window display, a short floor standee next to store racks, or a major focal piece within military Post Exchanges (PX).

Condition Details (Please See Photos):

This piece is in exceptional vintage condition for its age and fragile cardboard medium, showing very little wear compared to most surviving retail displays from the 1940s.

• Front: Exceptional, vibrant color retention with minimal fading. The graphic remains incredibly sharp. There is very minor, expected corner/edge rubbing along the bottom base from floor/shelf contact.

• Back: The heavy cardboard easel fold-out strut is 100% complete and fully intact. It has never been torn off, repaired, or structurally altered.

• Locking Tabs: The two circular locking punch tabs remain uncut and flat, indicating this piece may have spent decades carefully stored flat rather than heavily deployed or bent open.

• Structure: No major water stains, structural folds across the soldier's body, or heavy foxing. Lies nice and flat.
