ITEM DESCRIPTION:Beautiful vintage cabinet plate with fruit motif. It is signed by R. Sebright. I have seen a lot of similar Worcester plates listed in green but not the royal (deep blue) and pink.
The plate is salad or dessert size and measures approximately 9" across.
It is in very good condition for it’s age. The colors are still vibrant and the gold is in very good condition and shows only minor loss. It does show wear normal for age.
As with most older pieces it has crazing on the back and front. It is easy to see on the back and is most pronounced on the front on the fruit and the pink areas.
There is a small nick on the foot in the back. I could not feel any chips on the rim nor did I see any cracks or large chips. There is surface roughness on the unfinished foot on the back which I call shelf wear.
There seems to be initials JK (?) on the back and W 8860 (?) it is hard to read the numbers. The nick on the foot is up and just to the right of the numbers.
