This exquisite vintage Royal Doulton signed figurine is called “The Old Balloon Seller”. It features an elderly woman sitting with balloons in one hand and a basket by her side. Designed by Leslie Harradine, the figurine was issued in 1929 and retired in 1998.
Measuring approximately 7 1/2” tall and 5” wide, the figurine is made of bone china and is hand made and hand decorated so the expression on each face is unique. It is signed by the designer, Leslie Harradine, on the bottom.
Purchased from a large estate collection, the figurine has been well cared for and is in excellent vintage preowned condition with no cracks, chips, crazing, paint loss or restorations.
A perfect gift for someone to add to their collection or to start a new collection.
Because of the delicate nature of the figurine I will double box it and package it carefully.
