This is a spectacular, rare, and premium handcrafted Olsen Nolte brand hand engraved sterling silver and 1/12 10 karat gold overlay trophy style belt buckle that was custom made for the Clayton, California, Concord Mount Diablo Junior Trail Ride Association.
We estimate that the buckle is from the mid 20th century era, likely the 1960’s. The condition is very nice and shows much less than average signs of use for its age. It was handmade in San Francisco, California, USA and features high definition engraving, and a gold horse head & top banner. The measurements are 3” x 1 7/8”, fits belts up to 1 1/4” wide and weighs about 75 grams or over 2 1/2 ounces on our scale. Shipping will be USPS ground advantage package, insured.
