The blade is made from 440 stainless steel, while the handle is crafted from genuine horn, giving the knife its classic French Laguiole appearance. It also features a built-in corkscrew, making it both practical and collectible.
The blade is tang stamped:
“LAGUIOLE EXTRA”
“G. DAVID 440” and MADE IN FRANCE
The knife is in good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and use consistent with its age. The blade has no play, the backspring is strong and tight, and the knife opens and closes smoothly with good snap.
It retains its authentic vintage character and has not been restored.
