Beautifully preserved mid-century (circa 1930s–1950s) vintage Portuguese regional cloth souvenir doll. Crafted by the renowned Lisbon workshop of Mascotes de Maria Helena, this doll represents a traditional Noiva de Viana (Viana do Castelo Bride) in her formal wedding attire.
The doll wears a classic black bridal dress accented with meticulous, traditional black glass beadwork embroidery (vidrilho). She features a hand-painted face with stylized blue eyes, molded yarn hair, a delicate cream lace bridal veil, and carries a ceremonial floral bouquet cluster.
Excellent vintage condition. The fabrics remain rich in color, the lace is largely intact, and the painted facial features show minimal fading. Typical light shelf wear appropriate for its age.
