VTG Pair Hagen Renaker Giraffe Calf Figurines HR San Marcos Maureen Love MINT
A wonderful matched pair of Hagen Renaker Specialty Line Giraffe Calf figurines designed by acclaimed California animal sculptor Maureen Love. Produced during the San Marcos era and bearing the desirable cursive HR backstamp, these hand-painted safari studies showcase the graceful proportions and expressive character that distinguish Hagen Renaker’s larger Specialty Line animals.
The warm golden coloration, rich brown spotting, and reclining pose create strong decorative appeal while remaining faithful to the natural form of young giraffes.
Both examples are exceptionally well preserved with glossy original finishes and no crazing, making this a desirable collector grouping for enthusiasts of California pottery, wildlife sculpture, and Hagen Renaker animal studies.
