Lot of 2 vintage YMCA vests from the Indian Guides and Indian Princess programs, dating to the early 1980s (83–84). Both vests are leatherette-style with lace ties and come with numerous original event patches including “Camp-In,” “Pow-Wow,” “Christmas,” “Derby,” “Carnival,” “Halloween,” “Nation Induction,” and more.
The brown vest features an embossed rose design on the back and is marked “Indian Princess.” The tan vest has an “Indian Guides” patch and a more rugged look. These were part of a father-child YMCA bonding program and reflect classic mid-century youth group culture.
See photos for condition. The larger vest could use a couple more leather ties. Great collector’s pieces or display items for vintage youth organization memorabilia.
