VTG Native Navajo Signed Willie Yazzie Sr Sterling Silver Gem Inlay Belt Buckle For Sale

RARE OLD WESTERN NATIVE AMERICAN VINTAGE STERLING SILVER HANDCRAFTED BELT BUCKLE FEATURING TURQUOISE AND BLACK JET INLAY WITH PICTO SIGNED HALLMARK OF WILLIE YAZZIE, SR.
Willie Yazzie, Sr. was a famous and talented Native American Navajo silversmith who specialized in works that contained turquoise and black jet inlays, as this buckle does. The condition is very nice pre-owned vintage, showing just minimal tarnish. The upper blue turquoise stone has a very minor small crack but remains secure in its setting. The buckle is slightly domed and also features hand stamped tribal accents. It measures 3” x 2 1/4”, fits belts up to 1 1/4” wide and weighs about 1 1/2 ounces (it is not an overly heavy buckle).
