The Marbro Brand founded in 1934 by brothers Morris and Elliott Markoff in Los Angeles, produced high-end mid-century lighting fixtures and are highly coveted.

The company operated primarily as an elite importer and assembler. They sourced antique bronze vessels, Murano glass, and fine ceramics from across the globe, transforming them into luxury custom lamps using their trademark heavy brass hardware and unique dual-pull socket clusters.

High-end pieces from this lineup carried the iconic "World Crafts MARBRO Original" blue and silver foil sticker on the upper support rod column, confirming its high-value collector status.

The lamp is a vintage Asian-style patinated bronze urn vase that has been converted into a table lamp.

The piece heavily borrows from Archaic Chinese bronze vessels (such as Hu or Gu ritual shapes). Mid-century designers, popularized this exact aesthetic by creating stylized bronze table lamps during the 1950s and 1960s.

It features highly stylized mythical beast handles (often depicting dragons or phoenixes) fitted with loose hanging rings.

The central shoulder boasts bands of cast geometric patterns, low-relief scrollwork, and archaic motifs reminiscent of traditional East Asian metalwork.

The main vessel is mounted atop a carved wooden pedestal base, which is characteristic of 20th-century conversions of traditional oriental decorative objects into functional lighting fixtures.

Equipped with a dual-socket cluster featuring two separate pull-chain switches tipped with spherical ball finials. Original power cord has a dial switch.
