VTG MOSSER GLASS JOSH FIGURINE WINTERGREEN SLAG GLASS VI HUNTER MARK 4.5\" For Sale

This Mosser Glass “Josh” figurine captures the charm of early American art glass design. Created by Vi Hunter as the male companion to her popular Jenny Doll, Josh stands in overalls and a newsboy cap — a timeless depiction of youthful simplicity.

Pressed by Mosser Glass in Cambridge, Ohio, this piece is made of Wintergreen slag glass, a distinctive blend of teal and milky white tones. Unlike uranium glass variants, this color does not fluoresce under UV light, but its marbled opacity and soft sheen make it a standout display piece. Each figure is unique in swirl pattern and tone, reflecting Mosser’s handcrafted artistry.

A standout addition for Mosser collectors, Jenny & Josh enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates handmade American art glass.
