VTG MCM German Tinsel Angel 10\" Tabletop Figure Red Velvet Gold Foil Cloth Face For Sale

Vintage German 10\" Tabletop Stockinette Angel Figurine - Red Velvet & Gold TrimVintage 1960s mid-century holiday angel figurine crafted in the traditional West German Nuremberg tinsel style. This beautiful 10.25-inch piece features exceptional craftsmanship, including a hand-painted cloth face, heavy red cotton-velvet gown, structured wire lace, and stamped gold foil wings. While it features the exact design hallmarks, felt hands, and base construction of premium makers like Koestel, it bears no maker\'s label, though a label was present at one time that measured approximately 1\" by .5\" (more than likely a foil label, located where a small piece of the gold foil on the base is missing).Product Details & Features:

Condition:
This piece is in beautiful vintage condition. The heavy red velvet remains vibrant and rich (there is a stain in the crease of the arm holding the candle, perhaps from wax). The die-cut felt hands are completely intact. The gold foil wings show subtle impacts on the wing points, a crease to the left wing, other mild marks, but otherwise no major crushing or severe creasing or tears. Some of the dress lace has separated from the hem. A small loss of gold foil to the base where a manufacturer\'s label / or place-of-manufacture label would have been.
