This is an absolutely outstanding fiberglass lamp. Several tones of green. With a slight fade of yellow in the middle. Lucite ball sits on saucer moss green base.
Slightly under 12 inches tall. The top of the cone is 5 1/2 inches across. The base is 6 1/2 inches across there are no markings. The fiberglass is in fantastic condition there are no chips or pits or cracks.
The Lucite ball is thick. It appears to have a hollow area where the rod goes up to the light socket there is some tiny flecks on the inside. I believe this is just due to age. You would have to take the lamp apart to clean that internal bubble. I can’t tell if the base has been repainted or not. Compared to the underside. No matter how you look at it it’s pretty fantastic for approximately a 70 + year old lamp.
My items come from a clean, pet and smoke free home this will be carefully boxed and insured.
I recommend using an LED I don’t believe this lamp was used much. Typically any old fiberglass was discolored on the inside due to the heat of a lightbulb. This basically just has a little bit of dust at the bottom of it. Please see all the pics.
