VTG Lot WWII US ARMY M1928 COMBAT HAVERSACK FIELD 1942 BACKPACK MATTOCK PICK For Sale

Included in this lot is the 1942 haversack. Looks like it might have had some military repairs done on straps that have the manufacturers text on the underside of strap that says “OLDNER, J.C.” Also near the bottom canvas material reads “MARPLE, J.J.” The J.A SHOE 1942 stamp looks almost handwritten, but the bag checks out as original.

Mess kit bag has some signs of wear, scratches, scuffs, small holes, etc.

Comes with the mattock and 1943 J.S & S CO. Pick Mattock carrier case. I could not find a makers mark on the worn mattock blade or handle.

Included is a wool blanket with big holes and cuts.
