VTG LE CREUSET Rare 7-Qt DUTCH OVEN 26 Round Covered TRADITION Minty CERISE RED For Sale

Here we have a very large vintage set of Le Creuset enameled cast iron stove and oven wear. It is a 7-Quart Dutch Oven from Le Creuset\'s Tradition line, the one that existed before the current Signature line, so its vintage but not really that old. The main difference between the two lines is the knob (black vs. stainless steel, with both being oven-safe) and the size of the handles. 26 cm. Cerise (ombre red.) Listing includes screenshots with information from the Le Creuset site. The current equivalent Dutch Oven on the Le Creuset site that is closest in size to this one (it is 7.25 Qts, versus this one\'s 7.0 Qts) retails for a whopping $500.
We have an enormous estate collection shown in the group photos -- see instructions below for combining shipping on these pieces, most of which were never actually used, but are display-only, and were displayed in the dining area, not even the kitchen, of a professionally-kept home. Condition:Our photographs reveal the condition best -- please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully.Very clean and fresh piece with no cracks, crazing, silver/gray utensil marks, any other type of marks, stains. If it was ever actually used for cooking, it was gently so, as the interior is mint. Only the exterior has any issue, and it is entirely cosmetic, with numerous scratches and rubs along the outer edge of the lid from its having been improperly stored upside down on top of the pot with no protective padding between them -- see photos. There are also a few very light scattered scratches to the bottom of the pot that can\'t be seen unless it is turned upside down.
We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
