This elegant card holder is a beautiful example of traditional Japanese functional art. Received as a gift from my wife's students in Japan in 1994, it has been carefully preserved in its original packaging.
The case is meticulously crafted from high-quality Chirimen (textured crepe) fabric in a vibrant gold/mustard yellow. The front is beautifully adorned with a decorative ribbon and two miniature 3D "Geta" (traditional wooden sandal) charms.
