VTG 3D RAISED HENK BOS STILL LIFE PEARS MELONS ALL METAL 1960 DAC NY PAINTING
Dutch artist Henk Bos (1901-1979) painted this still life with pears and melons in the style of the Dutch Old Masters. This particular Bos painting has been made into a print using all metal in raised relief so that it’s in 3D. Of course there are minor surface scratches and these metal corners are sharp. Size is 1.25 inches thick, 10 inches high and 13.75 inches wide. A great mid century modern find. See photos. Bos was known for realistic still life paintings, often featuring fruits, vegetables and household objects.
