It is consists of 5 strands of while Momi shells strung in the rice pattern end to end which is usually done with Laiki shells. These are detailed at 6 places in each strand with varying shades of Kahelelani shells, creating a striking visual pattern. The color of these shells is 100% natural. This necklace is finished with an endemic Hawaiian bumpy cowrie shell.
This 5 strand lei necklace is nice and long, measuring approximately 38" long in overall wearable length. It is in EXCEPTIONAL vintage condition! This is a STUNNING piece of Hawaiiana!
