Vintage set of 3 hand-carved wood figurines featuring religious monk or friar figures. Figures were hand-finished and hand-painted from a single block of wood. Monks are depicted in musical or whimsical poses. One is playing a violin the other a flute. The third monk is holding a hymnal and singing in a choir. The carved wood figures are most likely from the Val Gardena region of Italy.Very good used condition. Vintage hand carved wood monk musicians with hand painted details.
