What a cheerful blast of 60s and 70s color! This handmade patchwork quilt brings together a lively mix of floral prints, bold swirls, and other wonderfully busy patterns in orange, rust, golden yellow, aqua, cream, and brown. The oversized yarn ties give it that unmistakable old-school handmade look, and the solid brown backing lets the patchwork take center stage.
It measures approximately 68” x 90”. Use it as a generous throw, or turn it across a full bed for a colorful layered look. There is a light layer of poly fill between the fabrics. The backing appears to be brown polyester.
Estate fresh and aired out after several years in storage. I have not laundered this vintage textile, as a new owner may wish to choose how to clean it. I noticed a couple of small areas that appear to have been mended; please see the photos for the details. Measurements are approximate, and the quilt’s shape is a little irregular.
