VTG 1995 Zippo Lighter - Select Trading Company Promo - New In Box - Never Lit For Sale

This is a vintage 1995 Zippo promotional lighter for the Select Trading Company that was based in Tobaccoville, NC (age confirmed by date mark from Zippo.com website). The lighter isin new condition with the original box, and the top has never been opened, much less lit. There are a few dark specks on the right side of the back of the lighter. I think that is where the brass has oxidized from being in a box for the last 30 years. It should buff out if need be...or you can call it patina and move on. That's what I'll be doing 😉
For some history, the Select Trading Company was a mail‑order catalog service operated by R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company that offering gift premiums such as shirts, hats, beverage containers, cigarettes, ash trays, lighters, and gift certificates in exchange for proof of purchase. This lighter is one of those gifts.
