Offering a set of two MINT vintage original first class Pan American Airways
travel bags plus one amenity bag. These bags were given to my parents on
their Pan Am honeymoon flight to Hawaii in 1963. They were NEVER USED, and were
stored in a smoke- free closet for 60+ years. These shoulder bags
are in unused, new old-stock condition. Made from heavy woven blue canvas variants
with iconic white global logos. White piping is flexible and completely intact.
Clean, unpeeled blue vinyl lining. Pristine metal zippers with no oxidation. The
heavy cardboard bottom inserts are in perfect shape. Each bag features a white
printed property tag on the bottom which are completely blank. Each bag has its own
original woven interior cloth tag from the BEARSE Manufacturing Co. There is some
slight age related discoloration to a small portion of fabric along the top- please see
photo. Also included is one Pan Am amenity bag in unused condition with contents consisting
of Pan Am comb in original cellophane, one unopened foil packet of moisturizer, and
one unopened foil packet of Rochas scent- both packets marked with Pan Am logos . See photos.
Bags have adjustable shoulder straps. These bags were issued to premium cabin
travelers and flight crews, and are original remnants from the golden age of flight. Rare.
