Up for sale is a beautiful set of 4 vintage mid-century modern nesting bowls designed by Bjørn Engø for Emalox of Norway. Crafted from anodized aluminum with a rich hunter green enamel finish and polished silver rims, these Scandinavian pieces combine timeless design with everyday functionality. The set includes four nesting bowls measuring approximately 9.5”, 9.0”, 8.5”, and 7.5” in diameter.
Good vintage condition with light age-related wear. The interiors show minor surface scratches from normal use and nesting. There are no major dents or structural damage. The polished silver rims display the original factory seams where the metal bands were joined during manufacturing; these are normal production features and are not cracks or damage. The original paper labels have worn away over time, leaving smooth, unmarked bases.
