The Vintage Foster Stove Co Cast Iron No 8 Chicken Fryer with Lid is a vintage collectible cookware piece made in Ironton, Ohio approx. in the1930\'s. This two-piece set includes a deep-frying pan with matching lid, both made of durable cast iron in a classic black color. The round-shaped fryer features a flat-bottomed design, making it suitable for use on induction, electric, and gas stoves. With its original manufacturing and oven-safe capabilities, this vintage chicken fryer is not only a functional kitchen essential but also a sought-after piece for collectors cast iron cookware. Lid is marked with a number 8. Bottom, not sure if it is marked lightly or not. The inside of lid and fryer has a heavy piece of rust on it, that I do not what its from. The bottom of the pan might say something very lightly on it, but will not guarantee it. I selling this as found, except I did coat the inside of the lid with an cooking oil. Any questions, please ask and I will try to answer to the best of my ability.
