A good condition, vintage Hen & Rooster (Bertram Cutlery) 114 DS 4 blade, stag scaled Congress knife.
Measures approximately 3 3/8 inches long overall, closed. The two sheep foot blades measure approximately 1 9/16 inches long, edge only. Obverse tangs stamped with Hen & Rooster logo over “Solingen Germany”. Reverse tangs stamped “Bertram Cutlery Rostfrei” with the right hand blade also marked “114 DS”. Long pull nail nicks. The two pen blades each measure approximately 1 1/14 inches long, edge only. Obverse tangs stamped with the Hen & Rooster logo over “Stainless”. Stag scales secured by three pins, obverse with circular Hen & Rooster logo shield. Nickel silver bolsters to each end. Brass liners and spacer. Provided in a microfiber drawstring pouch.
Good snap and half stops to all four blades. A small hairline crack has appeared to the obverse left side running from close to the pin to the bolster. Otherwise mint with the usual opening and closing surface marks.
