RARE-Vtg Hand Painted Japanese Porcelain Ware/Hong Kong Decorated VASE for sale is a vintage hand painted Japanese Porcelain Ware. It was decorated in Hong Kong and made for J.W. Robinson Co (a respected department store chain that no longer exists).
This would be a fabulous additional to anyone looking for Granny Chic or Maximilist styledecorating. It is a tall vase that would be stunning with a bouquet of flowers!Most likely 1960s or 1970s vintage.
Made for and sold in the Robinson's Department Stores in Japan, this ornate vase would look lovely on aside table Bottom of vase reads "Robinson's" "Hand Decorated in Hong Kong" and has a 4 character markers mark.
There are some condition issues on this item-mostly along the top rim-gold and black paint is flaking and/or rubbing off. And some other areas of the painting on the vase but not as much. I have tried to highlight in the pictures all theflaws.
