LUMINATOR LCD SIGN FROM A RETIRED GOH R-46 SUBWAY CAR
These LCD signs replaced the Mylar curtain signs what were previously installed on the fleet before they were overhauled in the early 1990s. The signs were programmed by an Operator’s Display Keyboard (or “ODK”) in the cab of the train operator or conductor to program all of the signs part of the train consist.
I have no idea if this sign works, as it has not been tested. It does not include any wires to hook up to the ODK or to the sign. I know of a few people who own these signs and were able to wire them.
The sign measures measures 42" W x 10" H x 5" D and weighs about 50 pounds.
