For sale is a vintage 1970s McCormick Distilling Co. porcelain \"Betsy Ross\" bourbon whiskey decanter, originally issued around the U.S. Bicentennial era. This detailed, hand-painted ceramic figurine depicts Betsy Ross sewing the early 13-star American flag.
• Condition: Excellent aesthetic condition. There are no chips, cracks, or flea bites anywhere on the porcelain figurine or the removable bonnet stopper.
• Details: This decanter is empty. The original paper U.S. Internal Revenue tax stamp is still partially attached to the back of her neck/dress.
• Important Note on Stopper: The original cork on the bonnet stopper has dried out and broken off. The porcelain portion of the stopper is completely intact and sits perfectly in place for display, but a replacement cork or a bit of hot glue/tack will be needed if you want a snug fit inside the neck.
