Bent Severin came up with the idea for what he called‘Princess’ in 1957 whilst working for Danish Glassworks Kastrup. When Kastrup merged with Holmegaard in 1968the Princess line was extended. Theseare Port Glasses standing 14cm tall, 6cm diameter and standing on the classiccone shaped base with a beautiful tear drop bubble within. Holmegaard closed in 1995 and these glassesare now very collectible. One of theglasses has a nibble on the rim and a second glass has a scratch on the base, Ihave tried to show these in the photos.
