Lovely vintage embroidered, appliqued bedspread hand stitched many years ago. The center is hand embroidered with pretty floral designs and little blue birds. The fancy scalloped edges are appliqued and embroidered all around with a blanket stitch. The blanket is made from medium weight cotton fabric and the bright red edges are feed or flour sack fabric. The piece has been used and does have some very faint yellow spots (probably from age) and one small repair. The fabric is sturdy and overall, the bedspread is in nice condition. Displays with a wonderful antique ambiance. Thanks for looking.
