VINTAGE GUATEMALAN HANDMADE EMBROIDERED BLUE FABRIC For Sale

Vintage handmade fabric, purple with extensive multicolor zig zag embroidery covering most of the cloth. Made on a backstrap loom in Sacatepéquez, Guatemala. Purchased in the 1980\'s. Still in brand new condition, never used and perfectly stored. 15.5 inches by 54 inches, including fringe. No tears, holes or stains.This piece would be 1/2 of the woven design for a Huipil. I purchased this alone, no second piece. This is in perfect condition 100% cotton, beautiful textile, good for adding to an existing garment, or to make a pillow cover.
