Three scenic stone outcroppings rise around the castle like jagged cliffs, creating the isolated feeling of a place no one should approach alone. Department 56 released Dracula’s Castle (59301) in 2002 as part of its Hot Classics Universal Studios Monsters collection and retired it in 2005. The set pairs the lighted castle with Bela Lugosi’s Dracula, connecting the display directly to Universal’s classic 1931 film. Three matching Department 56 scenic stone outcroppings are included as bonus display pieces, each with its original Department 56 label still attached. These seldom-seen additions surround Dracula’s Castle with jagged rocky terrain and give the entire scene a much stronger, more complete presence than the castle and Bela Lugosi figurine alone.Condition and Measurements
The Castle is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or missing pieces. The castle comes in the original box and styrofoam mold along with the Bela Lugosi figurine and as a bonus, 3 Dept. 56 stone outcroppings are included. Cord with a red bulb works and lights up the castle in a blood red color. The box measures 13 inches tall, 13 inches wide and 6.5 inches deep. Weighs 5 lbs. 6 ounces.
