These wonderful earrings, belonged to my mother, and have recently come out of storage. She purchased them in Taxco, sometime in the 1950\'s, and wore them all the time. She had the screw backs removed, and had the ear wires added.
They measure as shown, a total length of 1 1/2\" (including the wires) x 6/8\" total width. They hang beautifully, and are a comfortable combined weight of 6 grams. They are marked on the back \"sterling Mexico\", and one other word I cannot make out.
Condition is excellent vintage, very collectible, with no damage other a tiny dent on one ball, on each earring, probably from continued use (shown), as she wore them all the time. These are an unusual style, that is hard to find, that show beautifully, and make quite a statement.
