T H E E P I T O M E O F A R T N O U V E A U !Art Nouveau was an international style that swept the entire world
and changed the appearance of almost all objects from skyscrapers
to a wash basin and pitcher! It was an artistic style that
embodied sensuous and graceful design! It had a lot of other names Stile Liberty, Metro Style, Jugendstil,
Lilienstil and Wellenstil, but the names were less important than
the vitality and beauty that this style brought to the objects! This wash basin and pitcher are perhaps the most beautiful in
the entire world! Done in a style that was later embraced by
Louis Tiffany, it is porcelain unleashed in a sumptuous
wave of beauty and color! This masterpiece was made
by Montoya, a legendary artisan whose Nouveau works are
extremely scarce and coveted for their pure embodiment
of Art Nouveau aesthetics!Green blue and white work together to create the most natural
and eye-pleasing palette - true to nature\'s own! This wash basin and pitcher are from a time when running water
was not universal and would be used in homes for washing up!
While most are utilitarian in purpose none are so richly decorated
and adorned as this one is! Montoya pulled out all the stops and
this piece compares very favorably to the finest pieces of the period!Stunning condition and gleaming beautifully!
No chips, cracks or blemishes - truly sensational!A breathtaking art treasure for your NY Penthouse,
Palm Springs Atomic Ranch home or Frankfurt Apartment! T h e F i n e s t A r t N o u v e a u C o l l e c t i b l e s F o r Y o u r D i s t i n c t i v e I n t e r i o r s text, images and descriptions Copyright GALLERY 20TH. 2027. All Rights Reserved.
