VINTAGE 1940s BOY SCOUT POCKET SIGNAL DISK & HOLDER SLEEVE BSA with a 1914 date For Sale

Well, everyone else shows this as 1914 item....but....my research shows that while it was ORIGINALLY MADE in 1914, those would not show the STANDARD NOVELTY CO., IN LA JOLIE, CA as the manufacturer as those were made in MELROSE, MASS.. Based on my research, this is still quite old and was made around 1942-1943 during WWII. In addition, the Boy Scouts address listed on the protective sleeve was their address from 1927-1954 so we can further confirm it is from this time period.
This disk is in GREAT condition. The protective sleeve shows some age browning/normal aging.
