Traditional Erzgebirgische Weihnachtspyramide (Erzgebirge Christmas Pyramid) by VERO, crafted in East Germany (GDR). This impressive four-tier wooden carousel features a nativity scene at the top, followed by shepherds and sheep, foresters, and a bottom tier of miners in traditional uniform. The natural wood structure is topped with a large fan blade assembly designed to rotate from the rising heat of candles placed in the six surrounding brass-lined holders. Intricate hand-painted details and scrollwork on the fan blades highlight the folk-art craftsmanship of this vintage holiday centerpiece. Includes original box and instructional pamphlet.
