This striking hand-carved sculpture originates from Indonesia, depicting a mythological hybrid creature-likely a Kinnari or similar celestial being-combining human features with a bird-like body. Executed in a traditional Balinese folk art style, the piece features intricate carving on the feathers and headdress, finished with a rich polychrome paint scheme and gold accents. The expressive face and dynamic pose are characteristic of Indonesian woodcarving traditions used for guardian or temple-style figures.

• Hand-carved with detailed scale-like plumage and ornate traditional headdress
• Authentic \"Hand Made in Indonesia\" label remains on the base
• Vibrant polychrome finish with aged patina consistent with vintage production

Condition: Used condition with a notable structural split extending from the base through the back of the figure. The painted surface shows age-appropriate wear, minor scuffs, and small chips typical of vintage woodcarvings. The piece remains structurally displayable.
