Unknown JAPAN late 1800's early 1900's Medal Army General Navy Admiral? Military For Sale

Very good condition as shown. I'm not sure who or what the medal depicts, but feel it's military in nature. I can't find another like it anywhere and have tried google image search, and have posted it on several military medal forums, and have not received any information on it.
