My 96-year-old neighbor got this from her grandmother. This thing is legit!
This is a hand carved knife with handmade inscriptions on the blade. On the one side are the initials U. D. C. And the dates November 14th - 17th, 1914. UDC is the United daughters of the Confederacy. On the other side of the blade is some lettering that I cannot read. The whole thing is about eight and a half inches long.
I've tried to show everything about this blade in the pictures. The thing to remember is that is over 100 years old!!!
This truly is a one-of-a-kind item, probably carved at a convention or get together of the United daughters of the Confederacy. I was not able to find anything else like this online.
