Original early-production S.T.A.M.P.S. interchangeable watch face featuring the classic United Airlines logo and branding. This is from the brand’s first years (launched 1996–1997), when the modular “postage stamp” concept was still new and production quality was particularly high.
S.T.A.M.P.S. watches were designed in Germany with technical input from one of the original Swatch creators. Early examples like this one feature precise perforation around the edges, solid plastic construction, and a reliable Seiko quartz movement. The United logo shown is an older version that has not been used in many years, making these faces increasingly hard to find.
The original German-printed 3M adhesive pad is still fully intact and unused on the reverse. This means the face can still function exactly as intended in the 1990s, either snapped into a S.T.A.M.P.S. strap or stuck directly onto any smooth surface (mirror, computer monitor, car dash, etc.) like a repositionable sticker.
Condition:
- Clean and complete.
- Simply needs a new battery (standard SR626SW / 377 silver-oxide cell — easy and inexpensive to replace).
- Once powered, it will keep accurate time as these early movements were built to last.
A genuine piece of 1990s airline and design history that appeals to United collectors, aviation enthusiasts, and fans of the earliest S.T.A.M.P.S. modular watches.
Sold as a single interchangeable face only (no strap included).
