A nice original yardlong photograph of a Marine unit at Guantanamo Bay Cuba. The photograph is quite clear with men standing with their P1912 related equipment and khaki summer uniforms. They are also wearing the P1912 Montana peak campaign hats. The image is quite clear with no staining or rips or tears on the front. There are some small stains on each end on the back as shown in my photographs but that doesn\'t translate to the image on the front. Someone wrote Guantanamo 1916 on the back and in pencil near that the date March 17. There is also a small X on the lower border under the image on the front no doubt indicating their family member depicted in the picture.
The photo has been rolled up probably since 1916, but it remains in very clean nice condition and will frame very well if desires. I will ship it rolled. It measures 49 inches long by 10 inches high.
This is a great image of Marines in the early Banana war era and a super study of Marine equipment and uniforms.
