Naval hat TALLY with the name of the USS Wright embroidered with gold lettering
Tallys no longer included the name of the ship on the sashes (Tally) for caps after 1941 for security purposes. I believe this is the same USS Wright that had been reported as seeing a large vessel passing them on their way to Pearl Hasecrbor, and was suspected a Japanese boat.
