Up for sale is a vintage US Military M1 style steel combat helmet.Please note that this is a put-together/refurbished gear piece rather than a factory-original complete set. The outer shell consists of a genuine, heavy M1 steel pot. The interior fiberglass/plastic liner has been repaired or rebuilt with a non-standard replacement nylon suspension webbing system. It features a leather sweatband and an adjustable chin strap setup. This helmet is perfect for a historical reenactor, costume use, or as a classic military display piece.Condition:Used, surplus condition. The outer shell shows normal wear, scuffs, and signs of age. The inner liner and webbing show evidence of manual assembly and replacement parts.
