Condition: These pants are in Very Good Condition.Missing the inner left seat pocket button.A small nick in the middle back left thigh. A 5/8" vertical slit tear in the inner back left ankle. Retain a great amount of the vibrant "lightweight" pattern tiger stripe camouflage colors. Crafted in the classic 6 pocket cut, with slash entry "hand warmer" front waist pockets, and dual exposed button flap closure boxed thigh and seat pockets. Feature a button fly. Sport all but one of the original flat rimmed "shaved edge" OD plastic buttons throughout. Lightweight 100% cotton construction.
Historical Background:US Army Special Forces advisors and Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol "LRRPs" in Vietnam were allowed great leeway in their choice of uniforms, leading many to don tiger stripe camouflage for its menacing elegance and effective concealment in the field.
