Description This is an ORIGINAL and MINT condition \"tinned\" Carlisle Bandage, which all GI\'s and Marines carried in their first aid pouches during WWII. I thought I had exhausted my supply of these bandages, but recently discovered a box with 10 bandages in it. When these are gone, it will be the last of them! The cloth bandage and package of Sulfanilamide \"wound powder\" are sealed in an unopened metal container which is painted flat olive drab, making the markings difficult to see in the image above. These came from a box of issue dated 1943. Here\'s and opportunity for the collector or re-enactor to obtain a pristine bandage for the collection or impression. Although the bandage is in excellent unused condition, the buyer will, nonetheless, have a five-day right of inspection and return privilege, excluding postage.PLEASE NOTE: The bandage will be mailed in a padded envelope at reduced postage cost of approximately $5, unless the buyer requests priority mail, and the unused postage will be refunded after mailing.
