The product is a pair of highly collectible Vintage Mid-Century Neoclassical Hollywood Regency FAIP Gold Trophy Urn Lamps. Produced by the Fine Arts in Plaster (F.A.I.P.) company around the mid-20th century, these monumental table lamps stand roughly 50 inches tall and 18 inches wide. They feature highly detailed plaster/chalkware bases shaped like fluted urns resting on a pedestal, accented with bold gold gilding, burgundy/red central bodies, and sculpted foliate swag details. The iconic, extra-tall cylindrical shades are made of metallic gold paper texture and display matching applied relief bands along the lower edges.
Lamps are heavy and very large with what appear to be the original lampshades as well as a very old label/tag on the inside shade of one lamp. Both have a white electrical cord that looks very old. Lampshades are in good condition with some wear. One shade has a damaged section as seen in photos and both have spots of a lighter shade of gold near the top likely from production(see photos). One lamp has damages to the plaster bottom half (see photos) that is not as noticeable until you know about it and the other does not. The inside hardware attaching the shades are slightly bent. Shades may need a professional clean to retain original shine.
